How do I change opacity of black overlay?

edited November 2006 in How do I?
How do I change opacity of black overlay in Lightbox JS2 extension?
I tried to change #overlay variable in lightbox.css but I cant see any difference. :(

There is:
#overlay{
position: absolute;
top: 0;
left: 0;
z-index: 90;
width: 100%;
height: 500px;
background-color: #000;
filter:alpha(opacity=60);
-moz-opacity: 0.6;
opacity: 0.6;
}

Which of that last 3 lines shall I change? and what do they mean?

Look at my gallery http://www.nawrocki.be/zdjecia/

  • Try config.php, line 110. That should be it.

    currently, the
    /config.php
    file just configures the minishowcase code (it might be changed later, but it depends on how extensions evolve), so any change in that file won't affect any extensions.

    please be aware that i don't officially support Lightbox JS2 (it is not my code, and it says it very clear ...somewhere... either in the site or in the code...)

    off the record, just change the values to a percentage or decimal you like, so for example, for a 80% black:
    background-color: #000;
    filter:alpha(opacity=80);
    -moz-opacity: 0.8;
    opacity: 0.8

    for a 30% red:
    background-color: #f00;
    filter:alpha(opacity=30);
    -moz-opacity: 0.3;
    opacity: 0.3

    and so on...

    if this does not work (i have not tested myself), contact the Lightbox JS2 programmer (google will find it)
