Administration Section

edited September 2008 in Requests and Feedback
First Off, this is a cool & simple system. I found it, downloaded it and had it running in less than 5 minutes.

I have set it up for a friend http://www.jessthompsonphotography.com and she will add photos.

The only issue with this system is that there is no admin, adding Images is easy with FTP, but not for the general user.

I started writing a basic Administration system that plugs in and works pretty seamlessly with the front end.

Some features are;
» plug and play
» no editing original 'minishowcase' files.
» adding galleries,
» editing gallery text/html files in a WYSIWYG editor
» adding images to each gallery
» moving images between galleries
» previewing,resizing,rotating images ( while keeping their transparencies (gif|png)).
» multiple users

It is free to any one who wants it, I have written up a list of features and a download link on my blog sheldon.lendrum, Minishowcase Administration.

Check it out and let me know your thoughts.

    actually there is a manager (written in Java so it runs in any platform). it is called MiniManager and was written by the generous Jan Konieczny

    you can find it here:

    hope it helps.
