btw, I believe the permalink url's are not properly handling spaces or something.

I was surprised to discover that permalinks are still quite not working even in the latest version, v09b142. The permalink feature feels to me like a rather important for the successful integration of the gallery into websites.
The permalinks work all right otherwise, but when the gallery should change page number, that's when they stop working. -
sorry, but it seems to be rather complicated to make them work properly. for now use as is and at your own discretion.
